There is a hidden gem in the rooftops of North American Street. In the Spring of 2025, Erin Miller Wray was commissioned to create a one-of-a-kind pool mural at The Luxe Americana–modern apartments located in the heart of Fishtown’s West Neighborhood in Philadelphia, PA.
Much like the mural painted here, Erin Miller Wray’s murals contain geometric patterns painted with dynamism, vibrant and solid colors, and repetitive shapes that evoke a sense of movement and quickly bring excitement to the surrounding areas. During the painting of her pool mural, she shared that her work drew inspiration from quilting traditions. This is evident in Wray's mastery of color and shapes through her work–unconstrained by medium and scale–found across apparel, surfboards, basketball courts, buses, and large-scale murals.
Erin Miller Wray is a LA-based artist and brand collaborator who works directly with clients to develop artwork for branded content, commercial use, outdoor advertisement, social media installations, and public art. Motivated by human-centered art and community engagement, Wray seeks to create large-scale paintings that can be active through sight, touch, and imaginative thinking. Her joyful, geometric style is rooted in creating tangible art meant to inspire hope and possibility. Learn more about her work here.
